Decision to Postpone Annual Fundraiser to a future Date

COVID-19
TLCF RESPONSE TO OUR UPCOMING FUNDRAISER

We hope that this email finds you and your family well and healthy.

Its difficult to know what is ahead with the rapidly evolving COVID-19 emergency. After much discussion with the TLC Foundation Board of Directors, we feel it is imperative to safeguard the health and well-being of our supporters and volunteers and to follow the mandates of our state, local, and federal government officials.

In that regard, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our annual sporting clays fundraising event scheduled for April 26. At this time we have not secured an alternative date, but as we go through the next few weeks we will be looking for availability at MHHC and checking in with MSC for available dates in the shoot calendar for fall of 2020.

If you have already purchased your ticket, you can:
  • Designate your entire ticket purchase to the TLC Foundation Scholarship and Training Grant Fund which, as a gift, is 100% tax‐deductible.
  • Transfer your purchase to a ticket for a future TLC 100 Sporting Clays Fundraiser 2020, or in the absence of securing an alternative 2020 date, the TLC 100 April 2021.
  • Request a refund on your purchase.

We will keep you updated as we move forward. At this time we are actively exploring options to bring elements of our annual event to life through modern technology. We appreciate all gifts no matter how large or how small that help us accomplish our mission.

As we approach our 2020 spring scholarship award season, we are so thankful that we have been able to provide nearly $65,000 in scholarships and grants for nursing, firefighting, and paramedic training over the last 17 years. Some of those individuals are healthcare workers on the frontlines today helping with the war against this terrible pandemic.

We thank you for all of the support that you given to us and want to extend the reassurance that TLCF is strong, resilient, and more mission-focused than ever before.

With the Warmest Regards,

Karen, Terry and the entire TLCF Board of Directors.
